Re: Using Leica together with other camera brands?
It's been a long time since I started; I got an Agra 6x9 folder at age 8 and graduated to a Yashica 44LM when I started High School. In grade 11 I inherited a Leica IIIg and Ig with 6 lenses, and I've had Leicas ever since, and usually carry one when out of the house.
As one of my careers was architectural photography, I used a variety of cameras: Sinar-p -c and -f mainly, CamboWide, Noblex, Roundshot, Widelux, Hasselblad (mostly SWC), Mamiya (645 and 6) and in the SLR world progressed from Konica giving that up reluctantly for Nikon after Konica abandoned the field and then Canon when Nikon stagnated in the 90's. So I entered digital territory with Canon, got into M43 and still have some Panasonic. Canon gave way to Sony as mirrorless seemed the future to me. Now I use Sony 5%, OM 45% and Leica 50%. I'm sure I forgot some stuff. I still have and sometimes use 4 Leica film bodies.
For macro and any wide ranging focal length stuff the OM's work wonderfully, but just for everyday the Leica M11 and especially the M10M are the most satisfying.
