Canon doesn't make the BP-511 anymore so I've been thinking I need to contact Lowes or something and see if I can get someone to rebuild them, put in a couple cells. They apparently do that on tool battery packs
On that battery its just a couple 18500's so in theory it should be pretty easy if they're already soldering li ion and not blowing them up. Should be able to do the same on Leica, if you have old batteries
I'd guess it's a couple 14500's in there since nitecore makes 1100mah (AA sized, $10 each.) You wouldn't think its too hard
