The new lens focus was smooth, heavy and slow; relatively, the v3 was light, fast and required a delicate touch.
The V3 is to fast for my taste-
I love the rendering, didn't love the short and fast focus through. Funny enough, others enjoy that part of the lens
Agreed, I use the pre-asph primarily for portraits....I enjoy the longer throw
