Interesting you'd bring up TV, over $200/mo and you don't get Super Bowl etc here and have to put up an antenna due to a contract dispute. I dug one up from an old TV.
And I'm sure it used to hurt reception but now it pixelates and often doesn't cone in at all during a storm. Often does the same if reception is bad, you can't get anything.
So it's the wonders of technology you wonder if it's going to work. The channels are all digital lately, up to 6 channels per old channel and it is pretty entertaining some of the old sitcoms they broadcast. You might check out thefreetvproject.org if anyone has to cut the monthly expenses (or round out a streaming service) really not bad and a big antenna costs less than the monthly bill
