Thank you very much, Olaf! Your snowy wax cap image is exquisite!

Really nice shots Joshua and Olaf!
Voigtlander 35/1.2SE. I turned off all in-camera corrections to see what I would get.
Two different looks at the same scene - first one at f11 and the second wide open at f1.2. Heavy vignetting with this lens wide open! But still (in my opinion) looks good for a landscape.
I appreciate your kind words, Eric! As usual your desert landscape images are awesome!

Bare 300mm for eagle actions and now for a snow monkey, it delivers in spades...
The visibility at the monkey's onsen was poor due the continuous heavy snowfall. Plus, the hot water below and the frigid air above somehow managed to reduce quite a bit of sharpness and contrast.
The snowy conditions caused some road closures around Toyama and we had to cancel our outings to the countryside. So, just went across our hotel, which turned out to be Toyama Castle and came up with a few shots. And here is one of them. They cleared the snow in some areas but most of the castle's ground was still covered by a little higher than knee-high snow...
