I own the Z CV 35/2 APO and I too will not change it for an excessively large and heavy lens. I agree with those who say that the two lenses (MF CV 35/2 and AF 35/1.2 S) are not comparable. However, I wonder how Nikon photographers have managed to produce images over the past decades without a 35/1.2 lens in F- or Z-mount
