Just a thought about resolution while in manual mode and magnification. I use BWHC (i.e. B&W) when using EVF viewing and to my eye the resolution was not impaired yesterday. Have not yet tried it with an M lenses, but will get to it later today.
JTMMC, OK to me means no impairment to EVF usage/resolution.
