Dan and Douglas,
Stay safe and enjoy the beautiful scenery for a few hours. This storm actually went south of us in Iowa, we just had the cold and clouds. It has been a chance to just catch up on all sorts of stuff that needed to be done inside the house.
Remember to check in and share a few pictures!

5" on the ground and still coming down. Beautiful to look at but a new wood floor was supposed to be started today...No way! Handyman will be here Wednesday now!
Knowing Douglas, he is at Arlington now! Got to give him kudos for treking out in this mess! DC and places to the S and SW/SE of us is getting hit pretty hard.
Thanks!

Hi Dan,
So far (3:30 PM Monday) we got about 7", we may still get another inch or two before it's over tonight. No, I didn't go to Arlington Cemetery today, in fact I didn't go anywhere other than shoveling my driveway. The light is poor and too much hassle to drive before the roads are completely cleared. Tomorrow at sunrise I want to shoot the red barn at the Shrine of St. Anthony, got to watch out for icy patches on the roads that early in the morning! I am planning to go to Arlington Cemetery at sunrise on Wednesday, the snow will still be there. They probably get 9 or 10 inches. Too bad the snow doesn't stick on the trees this time, making it a bit less pretty.
The roads up here were a MESS!!!!!
The County had to get a front end loader with a snow blade to clear our County road.
Luckily a neighbor helped shovel my 200ft driveway!!
Yes it will be VERY cold through the weekend!
Have fun!
Dan
