Back to the thread title, I guess the title invites users to give few reasons for which the Leica "deserves" to be that expensive.
On the other hand, if the title was "How can be Leicas so expensive when....(and here are all the reasons for which it should not be expensive)" that would invite users to provide proof that they are way overprice items given the above mentioned reasons.
Not sure what the initial intention was, but now the thread lives its own life....
