I got a real surprise yesterday evening. I had an Anna's hummingbird show up in the garden. First, it was about 8 feet from me, but I couldn't get around without it seeing me. It flew to flowers farther away, and I managed a few shots of it. I'm in SE Texas, and this bird shouldn't be here. I had the same experience for a few years when I was in Central Texas.
