I own the Elcan, then lens renders lovely images, it’s really its strength, the center I find is very sharp. The Colors are warm and the overall output, very pleasing. I must admit that for corner to corner sharpness, it won’t do.
I have not tried the Voigtlander Skopar 2.2 but for what I have seen I’m not fond of the rendering.
Apart from the compactness and the fact that they do well in their own style, it really comes down to what you like better when looking at pictures taken with them.
