It may be my eyes, but I would consider all of these to be sharp. It seems to track reasonably well to the Lenstip resolution test. Again it's possible your copy is a little off, or maybe you have a unicorn copy of the GM 35.
@Keunish, do you have any samples you can post? Both showing the dramatic change when stopping down a bit, and maybe some comparisons with your GM 35?
