Finally got out with the 2 apos today (35 & 50). The focus was simply lens testing with comparisons with the 35mm f1.8S and the 50mm f1.8S. If the apos were to blow the 1.8S lenses away, I'd sell the 1.8S lenses despite AF. Right now I'm undecided, so will keep testing (code language for not being good at selling excess lenses)....but most images favours the apos. I'm really impressed with the corner sharpness which is the biggest difference. I'd also say the apos produce images that require less editing which is a bonus.
