I used to make/teach back in the 80's and 90's how to produce many different types of alternative prints in the darkroom (Platinum, cyanotype amongst a few).
Nowadays, I try my best to replicate them digitally (blending grain with hand made paper scans, then tone to suit the process) The trick is to find suitable subject matter that appears ageless.
