Great spot Douglas! I took some shots from my neighborhood, I wish that barn was 10 minutes from my house!!
Thank you Tim! Next time I will try Shenandoah NP for this, didn't have time Thursday night.

My first ever aurora shot. It was barely visible to naked eyes in my area but a phone could easily show it. It is not common to see it in our area. This barn is only 10 minutes drive from my house.
Cool Douglas! Well done! Steve
Thank you Steve! I was going to wait at Lindy Point for northern lights on Friday night but the forecast didn't look good so I headed home.
From West Virginia yesterday.
I totally missed this Douglas! Not usually a Sony forum peeper..
Great images. My 3 trips into WV all had very different results as far as "foilage color". Just in Harpers Ferry it is slow...Martinsburg...at peak...Winchester, VA and Paw Paw, WV peak..!
Great images!

Thank you Dan! Thanks for stopping by the Sony forum! WV is just beautiful in fall. IMHO, it's as pretty as New England, what it doesn't have are those little white churches with steeple in quaint small towns like New England does, with the exception of Harper's Ferry. But it doesn't have the crowds either. For pure leaving peeping, WV is my favorite.
From a local lake yesterday morning.
Shhhhhh! Douglas!!!!
Let's keep WV a secret!!
Beautiful...WV DOES have the small white/red churches hidden in the "hollars". Just need to know where to look!
Love this time of year for color!
It has been a VWRY whacky Fall!! Some trees are still green, some have dropped their leaves alrady and others are in the midst of the color change!
Great images!
