Considering that you have a strong preference for the Q3 28mm I would go with that plus the D-Lux 8.
On the other hand the Q3 43 focal length is about half way through the D-Lux 8 focal range of 24mm-75mm.
I pair my D-Lux 8 with my M11 which makes even more sense to me.
