I probably didn't mention this, but a few weeks ago I was droning one of my construction sites and the last perspective that I take is from the parking lot flute of a food services company. I've been meaning to stop by the reception desk to thank them for letting me use their parking lot as a vantage point. I had planned on asking them if they would like some shirts of their facility, on the house and a thank you. I pulled into a space and got the drone out and I noticed a young guy walking out of the building, I walked over to meet him and introduced myself, turns out that he was the CEO.We chatted a bit as I flew my last perspective and told him of my plans to drop by when I was done. He was very excited about getting shots of the building, so we walked around the property and shot stills and video, which I processed quickly and sent over to him.
Just got an email from him, he shared our work with the owner of the company, Ray will get a kick out of this, a Mr. McLane, who loved the shots and is working up a list of their properties around Texas that he would like me to capture, plus his new aircraft! So, "some" good deeds not only go unpunished, they turn out pretty darn nice!
And, I have a hunch that Ray and I will be able to have a nice dinner together in the near future in Temple!
