Alright, I’ve got a unicorn here - an HC 80/2.8 with firmware 19.1.0, meaning it has full AF support on the X System cameras using either of the Hasselblad H to X adapters (not included)
These lenses (with fw over 18) are almost impossible to find in the wild so would consider this a rare opportunity to use this beautiful lens on the X system cameras. I’ve been shooting it on my X2D and have included samples here.
The other thing about this lens, paired with the 0,8 converter is that it will result in a 60mm 2.4 fov and aperture, with an equivalent crop on the X series sensor to 50mm f1.9 - you can get the same field of view but with improved light gathering as you would if this lens was mounted on an H body camera with a full 645 film sensor size.
It has a classic signature - sharp but not clinical like a boring modern lens, and with smooth transitions to OOF without eliminating the background context.
AF speed is fine and actually comparable to the first gen of XCD lenses. I don’t feel like this lens is much slower in AF speed than the 45P.
Cosmetically excellent - glass is clear and clean and the barrel shows little wear. Includes front and rear caps.
