I’ve come to the conclusion that if you are genuinely happy with your current set up (dslr) the best thing to do is come off forums.
Forums have changed massively over the past few years, where once they were a meeting ground for those to share their passion and interests, swap ideas..now they are by and large simply marketing tools, mostly to make you think you need better, need the latest…
It never ever stops on forums, just the constant push to move up. I was a little peeved last year, now I’m getting bored.
Maybe forums should have a dslr based section only and moderators to police the topics ruthlessly.

But as these photos clearly show DSLRS can really deliver.
We shouldn’t need to have to defend our choices for taking pictures.
The constant push will inevitably be the reason why I quit forums.
