the image quality and size are really good on the 70-350g. the only really downside is the mediocre AF.
the 100-400 has perfect AF and image quality but it is heavy to lug around.
there is also a new kid on the block: the tamron 50-300. the range makes it more universal thanks to the 50mm. still have to test the AF. but i like its image quality.
