N90s was my first "semi pro" SLR, and it definitely got me addicted to the faster response times of higher end Nikons. That was also back in the days when just about all Nikons had the four button control cluster on the top left deck, something I wish all Nikons still had.
Contax RTS - had a buddy who shot Contax back in the film days, they always seemed to be lovely machines to hold and I'm guessing to use long term. Just pricing out a basic lens set, hoever, pointed me away from them. I keep thinking that a digital Contax S2 that took the old zeiss lenses would be a good setup, assuming that those lenses have moderated in price some.
