Had a short focal length (28mm f2.0 AIS) mounted when I came across this young buck. It stayed in the spot long enough for me to switch to the 105 f2.8 AIS, without changing it's body position much. I continue to be wary of "wildlife" that is as habituated to humans as this buck was, though I have not heard of any real issues here locally with deer/human conflicts other than the almost inevitable deer/vehicle collisions.
