I will stay clear of the urban areas of Sacramento and S.F.! I will hit some of the spots in the northern Cal coast before the weekend's airshow, then hit Yosemite on Mon/Tue before I head out to L.A for for business stuff. Summer is probably not a good time to see Yosemite though, I have been there before.
I thought I had never seen F-4 flying, but last week when i was looking at some old pictures, I found these from 2012.
The F4 is forever in my mind Douglas! It was my primary aircraft for close air support for 2 years. They are "screamers" fer sur!
Unfortunately Iran still flies their F4's that they got from some idiot here.
But a few other Countries still use the F4 for their current aircraft.
Had a childhood friend that was a "driver" for F4's out of Udorn Thailand as the Vietnam War slowed down.
