There's a nice used M7 available from one of the small shops here in Switzerland I kept checking out, but I instead picked up a new-to-me Leica M-A (BC) over the weekend to join the Nikon F2 on film duties. Something about staying all mechanical for the film cameras just seems right at this point. Now the 28mm and 50mm Summilux-M Asphs (both v1s, and now there's no sense in having any close focus variants for the M-A anyway!) I have will get a chance at film too.
While the sensor is the same between the M-A and the F2, my goodness the fit and finish of the Leica is noticeably nicer. Let's hope it the pressure plate doesn't scratch the film.
