Finally was able to elicit heavy purple fringing. I’ve seen traces and you can see a bit in the shot of the gator, but wide open, mid distance against heavy contract and it was very evident. But then it cleaned up at f/2.8. Bokeh here isn’t perfect but still an attractive rendering to me.
