Yeah they didn't try and stop the peaceful transfer of power. That is treason period. All riots are wrong. The problem is anything it becomes party over country things get scary. Nazi party, Germany late 1920s early 1930s, Facsists in Italy and Spain, Communists in Russia, Baathists in the middle east. And even worse when a man becomes more important than party or the country, I swore an oath to the constitution of the United States as did my father in WWII and my grandfather in WWI. Not an oath to any one party or especially any one man.
