Hi WSBrown:
I never been Brasstown Bald (my favorite high point) that is far from my location, but I have visited to Table Rock State Park. Sassafras Mountain is 9+ mile away from Table Rock peak and we have no chance to go up there due to wife's weakness.
Instead of those places, we usually visit Blue Ridge Parkway due to health issue of wife.
