I know, it's surprising given all the "leaks" over the last three or four years that indicated they were planning on dominating the market. Seems, as we say here in Texas, "All hat and no cattle"..............
The rain has been good for the landscape, and it appears that it will continue for a few more weeks. Really hasn't caused us any problems, the folks in tornado alley, northwest Texas and Oklahoma have gotten the brunt of the real bad stuff.
James is doing great, we've been working on a lot of projects together. The other day we had an a/c condensation drain plug up and cause a leak. I called the a/c guy and he wasn't here for five minutes before James had his tool bag all loaded up and was standing there ready to help. Truth is, he would have been more help than the clueless a/c guy. We ended up troubleshooting and fixing it after he left. Calling a "professional" these days doesn't mean what it used to. This guy was talking about replacing a pvc pipe, ripping out drywall and our master bath cabinets. The real fix was just cleaning out a couple of clogged fittings under the sink, thousands of $$$$ compared to about an hour of dismantling, cleaning, and reassembling the connections. So much for the"Pro's"........
Oh boy dont talk to me about "professionalism" in the trade crafts Jim! We have been enduring a similiar ac problem for 5 years 2 new furnaces and compressor units and the AC temp STILL can't be regulated properly! 3 Different "pros" still tell me I need this and that and only a few thousand EXTRA dollars!!!! I DON"T have a few extra thousand dollars for an obvious screwed up analysis of a 5 year old problem! I am po'd!
Glad my buddy takes his job seriously! You have instilled in this fine young lad the positive "work ethic"! Very little of that in our Country today! Also glad Texas is enduring the rain. We have swung from record 90F heat to 50F rain in 24 hours!
Stay safe brother!
