Re: Lightweight travel setup options / opinions

I had similar ideas swirling around in my head. For a full frame body I decided to
1) not go with a lens that has more than ~400g of weight
2) take a lens that is strong wide open (preferably f2) for dim landscapes and cityscapes
3) Skip zooms since
- these all weigh >400g or
- have an aperture that starts way beyond f2.8 with this weight limit
4) Take a maximum of 3 lenses

This leaves me with few choices:

ULTRA WIDE
Sony 20/1.8 373g
Sigma 20/2.0 370g

WIDE
Sigma 24/2.0 360g
VC Apo 35/2.0 352g
Sigma 35/2.0 325g

NORMAL
VC Apo 50/2.0 364g
Sigma 50/2.0 350g

TELE
Sigma 65/2.0 405g
Sigma 90/2,8 295g

This leaves me with just two choices:
A) 20 - 35 - 65 (~1100g for 3 lenses)
B) 24 - 50 - 90 (~1000g for 3 lenses)

I strongly prefere selection A for city trips and selection B for landscapes / people.
