Ponte Sant'Angelo is usually my first stop while visiting Rome. The bridge was commissioned by Emperor Hadrian and complete is 134 AD. For centuries, it was the only direct access to St. Peter's Basilica from the city.
Bronze statute of Archangel Michael sits on top of Castel Sant"Angelo.
A couple of the ladies that adorn the bridge, 17th century.
