Isn't the term "pocketable" just a way of saying "small, light, easier to carry camera"? I mean come on! Who walks around with their cameras in their pockets? My phone hardly gets that treatment. If you wear baggy pants or have coats with big pockets, OK. But is that a very good way to protect an expensive piece of equipment?
And while we're at it, maybe we can stop with the hard definitions of what kind of photographers (pros vs. non-pros, for example) use which cameras. PLENTY of professionals shoot with X100 series cameras. Some actually make money, lead workshops and have photography books. Let's make photos with gear that makes us happy and gives us the images we want to make and ease up on pronouncements about which camera is meant for which "kind" of photographer. I know I certainly don't want to be pigeonholed.
