Ok, then Tim is right. I never have those enabled in camera, that could explain why. I only check/uncheck those lens corrections boxes after importing depending on the situations. The question though, is there any sony camera/lens combination that those distortion/vignetting corrections can not be disabled in camera? I doubt there is any.

Lenses that force Distortion Compensation on all cameras with the feature:

1.8/11
1.4/15G
2.8/24G
2.5/40G
2.5/50G
4/10-20G
4/16-35G

4/18-105G
18-135
4/20-70G
28-60 (only in the usable zoom range)
70-350G

Older FE lenses where Distortion Compensation cannot be turned off on full-frame cameras, but can be turned off on APS-C bodies.

2/28
1.8/55ZA
4/24-70ZA
4/24-105G
24-240
28-70
4/28-135G

I thought the older APS-C lenses acted similarly on full-frame bodies, but Sony's website states otherwise, but it is inaccurate about other things.

I haven't seen a third-party lens that got distortion compensation forced.

Sony forces distortion compensation to be enabled for many lens - body combinations. The specific combinations where it happens varies at least by format. The original NEX 3 and 5 cameras didn't support Lens Compensation, so of course they never applied anything. With other older cameras using one of the forced applied lenses was the only time the live view got distortion correction applied. Then Sony decided to apply distortion correction to the live view for all lenses when the setting was enabled--I think it was the III generation that happened.

24-240
28-60 (only in the usable zoom range)
28-70
4/28-135G
70-350G

On Sony's Lens Compatibility site these lenses have the note, "The [Lens Comp.: Distortion] setting will be set to 'Auto'." I am surprised that many of the APS-C lenses are on this list.

If you check an APS-C body like the A6600 the older full-frame lenses listed above don't get distortion compensation forced enabled: 2/28, 1.8/55ZA, 4/24-70ZA, 4/24-105G, 24-240, 28-70, 4/28-135G
