On a happier note, JIII and I are getting serious about our bird photography. He's using my Olympus Tough, and I'm stuck with that old RF600/4....................
Nice variety of birds, Jim. Lately I have been shooting mostly hooded mergansers in a local pond, not much else to shoot. I tried to find owls but no luck.
Beautiful Douglas!
Is this near you?
Dan
Thank you Dan! These were shot in a pond near me. The hooded mergansers only show up in winter. They are very skittish. As soon as they see human approaching, they swim away. So in a lake or big pond, forget about it. They are fun little ducks. You will find them in ponds in your area too.
Suzanne and I have to head over to St Anthony's before Lent. Thought it might be the pond near the monks living quarters!
Thanks!
Dan
Sorry to hear you did not escape "the bug"! We kept getting vaccinated but I caught something in November that was is still lingering! Any/all tests show nada, nothing, zilch!!!!!
