Yeah, that's sort of what I meant. Best deals are in the fall and EDU sometimes gets you even more on top of those fall deals while they are running. Rest of the year you get EDU deals....and sometimes some discounts, but on they whole they aren't as good as the deals you get in the November/December.

Sorry to say it, but I don't think I ever see the broad discounts reoccurring outside of the November/December window.

I have EDU pricing, but the deals in November-December were better. I don't really have to buy anything now, so I may just wait till next Fall. That will give me a chance to see what Sony rolls out in the meantime.
I thought that there usually aren't any great deals apart from the holidays. That's why I was asking.
