Sao Roque Church Lisbon, ca 1565:
The very very plain structure contains perhaps the most intricate and lavish craftsmanship in Portugal. It is one of very few buildings to survive the Lisbon 1755 earthquake which leveled 80% of the city. It contains nine chapels and three altars which appear to be drenched in gold. I will post others when tweaks are done.
