“minimum focusing distance of 6.56 feet (two meters) and a maximum magnification of 0.16x”
Does anyone else think the 2m minimum focus distance on the 300GM is a potential problem
I once had a wild penguin stand on my shoe and I couldn’t take a shot of it with an EF mount 150-600.
That lens had a minimum focus distance of 2.2m and that was the most annoying thing about the lens, aside from the crappy autofocus with the MC-11.
In comparison the 100-400 can focus at 1m (0.35x) which is considerably better
