I'm not sure if it's my monitor but every single one of these photos looks like they're suffering from heat shimmer (or maybe diffraction when shooting at F16?). Might be just my 4k monitor that makes it look underwhelming.
I cropped quite a bit and they still look good on my Apple Laptop. I don't usually crop this much especially when using a Teleconverter. I exported from LR at !500x1000 with a 240 pixels per inch resolution. File sizes are from 200k to 300k. I'm not that knowledgeable about posting photos online. I tried posting larger sizes here but without success.
