So I’ve had my A6700 for two months and a week now and used it mostly with APS-C lenses even though I have small I-series Sigma lenses that will work with it. For APS-C I have the Sigma 18-50/2.8, 30/1.4 and 56/1.4 I found used on FM and took a risk buying the Sony 15/1.4 G, again used. The all work very well with the camera and it is very portable. The only new lens I bought for it was the Voltron’s 75mm f/1.2 which is great if you want to do portraits. The setup pairs well with my full frame A7RV and A1s. Sold my A7C and A7IV I used for travel.
I do have an A7CR on order although questioning why I didn’t stay with the A7C II. Will ultimately question if it’s worth keeping both small bodies but we will see. Plan on using I-Series lenses on it and not my larger GM glass since keeping its kit small for travel is my goal. I admit I wonder why not stick with just the A6700 and who knows that may be the outcome.
Note added: I’m really just a stills shooter.
