For my personal tastes this is one of the most handsome Nikon bodies since the film era, and the traditional controls appeal to me as someone who stated shooting in the 1970’s. If there were a few more SE lenses (such as compact 85 f/2.5), and if they all had aperture rings, I’d likely splurge on it.
On the other hand, I bought a Df in the last year for the same nostalgic reasons and quickly sold it, my brain just didn’t take to the controls like I thought it would.
But to my eyes that is a dang fine looking photographic instrument.
