They don’t compare directly with the Sony and so of course it is still very possible the Sony is sharpER wide open when viewed at 100%. Some of the zoo shots are at higher ISO which can make sharpness harder to evaluate and one seems to have motion blur. Typical of super telephoto lens reviews not done by wildlife photographers! That said, it is extremely difficult to claim any of their 600mm F/6.3 shots are anything other than “sharp”. Copy variation?
