I know this is an Image thread, but all of you shoot Leica and have posted amazing images here and thought that some if not most may have made the move from older digital Leica's to M10's.
From what I have learned through watching about every M10 video on you tube the M10 has a newer sensor, better low light capability, larger/better view finder, 4mm thinner and does not have the battery life of the 240. I have also looked into the Q system and SL as an alterative to use along side the M240 I have.
Is it worth the upgrade to move from my remaining M240 to a M10?
I know this is something only I can decide if it's worth it or not, but would really like to hear anyone's thoughts on the subject.
Thank you
I loved my M240! Every situation and preference is different, of course, but when I boil it down personally, better high ISO performance was the main difference for me. Everything else was nice but not necessary. I ended up switching from the M10 to M10-R for the extra resolution and I love it. It's nice to have the extra headroom to crop more when needed. And I love the M10-R colors better than both the M10 and M240.
