Finally sold my Sony/ZeissFE50/1.8 which I had had since it's release for the 1.4GM. The GM is a wonderful lens though I do miss the smaller size of the 1.8 which fitted do well with the original ethos of a smaller lighter camera system. That said the 1.4GM is not big heavy beast and I use it a lot. A winner
