These are from Cabrillo National Monument towards Coronado island and downtown San Diego. Very strong blue humidity haze and hot afternoon massing with sharpness and color balance.
Nikkor 50-300mm 4.5 ED ais, best lens ever on a tripod or monopod, actually it vignettes at 300mm but easily correctable, sharp at all apertures and focal lengths and built like a tank, smooth focusing and zooming too, internal zoom, to focus you turn the whole gigantic front element but it is very smooth.
