I really like how this lens renders wide open on longer distances. (Closer up I tend to stop down to f./2-2.5 at least).
Shot on the Z9 and processed in ACR.
Yes my opinion has always been give it at least 6 feet wide open and stop it down a bit in close.
I tend to agree for certain aesthetics that would hold true for cleaner look. Once you are in micke.Vicke realm, totally different. He/ or she? uses SA as part of style.
