GM 50/1.2 and ZA 55/1.8 are different beasts.I keep them both and use them for different applications.ZA 55/1.8 is taken when I want to get compact,lightweight,high quality standard prime with Zeiss look and GM 50/1.2 serves for more special purposes,when sharpness, chromatic aberration free image at large apertures is important.Both are great for general purpose photography
