I'll let you know how I like it once I've edited some pics. I can tell you that my M1 Macbook Air is MUCH MUCH quicker than my MBP with the intel processor. I am expecting the Mac Mini to be even better.
I bet that M2 Mini will fly. I’m editing on a MBA M2 and am constantly amazed how well it does with Lightroom … and everything tbh. I finally upgraded my 2014 iMac last week after 8 years of faithful service. Picked up a Studio Display to pair with the MBA M2 and am pretty happy with it. It has inbuilt colour profiles you can choose including one for photography which also locks in the correct brightness. It was pricey but if it lasts as long as my iMac I’ll be pretty happy
I thought about the new 15" MBA, but I decided I wanted to go back to a desktop. I never took my laptop off my desk anyway.
