Early this spring, thanks to a tip from a fellow photographer, I was fortunate enough to observed this family over several weeks. It was interesting to see the owlets' growth and parents' collaboration - hunting and defending the nest from intruding ravens. These are some pictures and hope you all enjoy these.
1. One of the owlets perched near the nest tree and stared at me.
2. Mom brough home the dinner.
3. Mom fed the owlet.
4. Oh, hi human...
5. Fledglings are taking the steps from the nest.

8. Proud daddy. He was always nearby and chased away ravens when they came too close to the nest.
