Castelnau des Fieumarcon, Occitaine, France. A hilltop stronghold dating back to 1143 BC that now functions as a private hire venue. Yes, you can rent a restored (not yet fully) medieval village so it serves as an amazing, rustic, place for the likes of weddings or corporate functions. I was attending a wedding - probably the best one I have been to as a guest since everything occured outside.

It would remis of me not to take a few door pictures for Leighton because they came in all shapes, sizes, colour and condition. The 50/2 was the only MF lens I took with me so it had to compete for time on both cameras.

British Airways decided to leave our luggage behind in London. A major IT glitch on day we flew out screwed up hunreds of flights. Just about everyone on our flight, who had checked-in baggage, fell foul of the same thing. Flight were taking off with no luggage.

So my family had to waste a full day of our short trip trying to work out what was going on and in the end we had to go shopping in Toulouse for clothes fit for a relative's wedding. We were chapperoning my wife's 89 year old mother to the event so stress levels were pretty high. Fortunately the location, food, beer, more beer, wine, more wine, champagne and meeting lots of wonderful people made up for it.

Now BA need to locate the luggage and return it......... I have a few camera accessories in one of the bags.

Colin
