re 24-50.
I shot a picture off my deck tonight with r8 and ts24, 24-105, 15-30, and my new 24-50.
In the centre the ts24 was sharpest. But it was not dramatically different. The 24-50 was 2nd.
At the edges the 15-30 and ts24 were sharper. But again it was a modest difference.
The ts24 is a very nice lens. And is/was over $2000 lens.
Slower to focus than 24-105, but good iq.
All of the the above suggests the 24-50 is an pretty good lens for its price.
