These are fabulous shots, but there is something in your post processing that is smearing the feather detail. Especially in the second photo. My guess is that your noise reduction is doing this? Again, super photos!
If you don't already have one of the Topaz products, that might be worth a try. I used Topaz DeNoise AI all the time and it sharpens and well as removes noise. The program is like magic.
